Adoptable Pugs

Our adoption fee is $100.00 and up, depending on the Veterinarian's bill per Pug. This fee reimburses Prairie Pugs, Inc. for medical care given to the adoptive Pug and to help other Pugs in need. Prairie Pug, Inc. adopts these Pugs into very carefully selected homes after veterinary care has been given. Veterinary care includes, spay or neuter, heartworm testing and treatment if needed, vaccinations, treatment for internal parasites, a dental and any other medical care needed that we can possibly afford to provide. An adoption application is required, as well as a Vet reference to see how your pets are cared for, and a home visit is done to make sure there is nothing that would harm your Pug. Pugs are strictly indoor pets. A fenced yard is a must. This provides not only exercise for your Pug but security from larger dogs. For Additional information

Elvis Elvis came to us from a puppy mill. The puppy mill owner said if we did not take him, he would take him out and shoot him. Elvis is only 2 years old and so full of life. Unfortunately, Elvis needs surgery on both knees for luxating patellas and his hips are not that great either. Elvis has been fully vetted and had a hernia repaired. Please adopt Elvis if you can give this sweet little guy a chance at a full life. The surgery on his back knees runs about $600 per knee. The adoption fee for Elvis is $150.00. Billy Billy is an energetic but loving 5-6 year old male. He is visually and hearing impaired but that doesn't stop him. He is in the beginning stages of Hip Dysplasia which will need to be watched. Please don't let his few imperfections keep you from adopting this very special boy. My adoption fee is $250.00. Adoption Application

Lynn Lynn was a puppy mill breeder that was purchased at auction. She 5-7 yrs old, fun loving, happy and has such a zest for life. She is a joy to watch. Lynn has been fully vetted and is ready for her new forever home. Please keep in mind that she has been caged her whole life and will need patience and understanding with her house manners. Her adoption fee is $150.00. Adoption Application
