Prairie Pug Inc. is a licensed 501(c)3 non-profit Rescue located in NE Kansas. We have been finding loving homes for homeless Pugs since 1997. Staffed strictly by volunteers, we are always looking for dedicated Pug lovers to assist us. Each Pug we get is thoroughly vetted prior to going to their new home. We attempt to match each applicant to the Pug desired, and each pug to the right applicant to satisfy both. Donations let us exist and help homes find their desired pet and to maintain the health of the pug while in waiting for their forever home.

Prairie Pugs has become a distributor of Flint River Ranch foods. We are converting our pugs to this fine line of pet foods to provide a more nutritious diet for the pugs and also to raise money for the rescue. We have heard about this great pet food for years from other rescues and folks who have done their research and want to provide the healthiest diet available for their pets. SO many of our pugs are having allergy problems which includes licking their paws, scratching, ear infections and hot spots. We have placed an order for Fish and Sweet Potato (Fish & Chips). This kibble contains no chicken, wheat, corn and is BHA, BHT and Ethoxyquin FREE. There is also Fish and Sweet Potato wafers for treats which is wheat and chicken free and contains cranberries and blueberries which provides healthy antioxidants. Virtual Foster Family
